The Qbag from FPP Packaging Solutions in the UK is an aluminium foil bag with a polyester window. It is specially designed for barbecue picnic food and can withstand temperatures up to 260 degrees. It combines the strength of aluminium foil with innovative polyester heat seal technology. Through this polyester window, the consumer can see the product inside and peel off the polyester window to stir, season or bake. This packaging can also be used in the oven to retain the moisture and taste of meat or vegetables. The first to bring the new BBQ mat to market was the Marks & Spencer supermarket chain, which introduced a frozen potato/herb/garlic/onion mix pack with a shelf life of six days for the new season.To create this pack, FFP first embossed 38mm of aluminium foil."
